The picture is a few years old. That's a remnant from hurricane Irma in 2017.
It's been a couple years since I was on that part of the river but it was still
there then and I reckon it probably still is.

? Here in Australia the insurance company would be required to clean it up.
Can you float it and claim salvage?

It's Florida, insurance not required to register them and people just abandon
them. At least this one isn't in the middle of the channel. A bit difficult for
me to salvage with my kayak and it's just junk anyway.
