Hey Jordan1st, do you think this Swedish bank could do business in arab
countries?
I mean, considering the name?

They did the banking for the nazi's so why not..

I have four answers to that Anon 53164.
1) The question here is about the bank's name not what they did.
2) Practically all banks in the world did business with the nazis at the
time.
3) This bank was started by and is still controlled by Jewish interests.
4) This is about the arab word SEB (or ZE

. If you do not understand that word, keep out
please!

well, the "HSBC" and the "standard charterd" banks are
making good bussiness in jordan, i think they do have offices all over the
middle east as well. theyve campaind themselves succsefully, and they entered
the market strongly. specially the HSBC.
i dont see any reason why wouldnt a swedish bank do well if its campained
properly.
and about the name, SEB dosent mean anything in arabic.
its ZEB you wanna stay away from no one will invest in it....lol

Well I figured SEB was close enough to ZEB when I posted it. When I saw it, I
nearly laughed my head off!

Anyway, banking is "haram" is it not, so, ZEB or SEB, it does not
matter...

NO BANKING IS NOT HARAM,
THE ONLY ISSUE WAS THE INTREST GIVIN OR TAKIN CAUSE IT COULD BE DISCRIBED AS
"RIBAH" AS MENTIONED IN THE HOLY QURAN, BUT THEY DID FIND A WAY AROUND
IT, THE BANKING SYSTEM WORKS EXACTLY THE SAME AS EVERYWHERE.

I saw a show on the History channel last night that said that Swiss banking
system might have been started by the Knights Templar in the 1300's.

I wonder if they may have gone up to Sweden as well. They supposedly originated
in Normandy which was populated by Norsemen.
