Who here believes in God? Who doesn't? Who can prove his/her without a shadow of a doubt to the rest of us? I have seen really definite statements made on this site with nothing to back up these claims, not even any attempt. Also, prove to us that re-incarnation is real nor not. Prove that there is life after death, or not. If you can't then stop claiming your views to be facts in other areas of the site (or in life).
No, DCB isn't God, but he knows hypocrisy and hatred when he hears it and calls it by name, which is, at least "Godly". A better record than those who bleat "Jay-ZUS" in order to purchase gullibility assurance from 52% of the American Electorate.....
*bold*[email protected]*bold* is exactly the kind of person I created this thread for. He/she states a personal belief as though it is fact and offers no proof to back up the theory. That is so stupid it is almost beyond belief.
The entire universe, and everything in it, including every weird thing we don't and can't ever know, is the "body" of God, if you will. The whole shebang is divine, your molecules were once particles of rock and wind and water, and we can only come to know a miniscule part of the amazing "Everything" that we are actually only a tiny part of.
that's the whole point tiw. you can't prove the existence of god with scientific fact, so believe what you will people but don't think someone elses beliefs are pagan if you can't prove yours are right.
murder in the name of religion would unleash the rath of whatever god there is
You missed my point. I don't profess my beliefs to be fact the way others do on here. To present your beliefs as fact and not offer any proofs to back-up your claim is arrogant indeed.
John Stone has it right. But that means "evil" is part of God too, which throws fundamentalists in a tizzy, but is actually expounded upon in the Bible with the fallen "archangel Lucifer" and all that stuff.
It also explains Republican hypocrisy. But I'm repeating myself....
Almost forgot: It's also known as original sin. Democrats have it too, but they acknowledge it, and therefore have to take a hit on the "wimp" index.
"Brains=Weakness" will be the destruction of Western Civilization,IMO.
Not this sad bunch of Middle-Eastern Camel fuckers we've been distracted by.
In actuality smart fighters can kick the shit out of big stupid giants every time. We've modeled ourselves on the wrong movie hero.
Ahh-nold is eversomuch an empty, impotent windbag in reality. Being a hero onscreen is pretty fucking easy by comparison.
How does it always get back to US politics. Lies and bullshit. Does nobody realise the democratic West is a system of lies and more lies?
God only knows! And I don´t believe in god either.
If god was a man: women would be =your thoughts here=
If god was a woman: houses, cars and boats would look like shoes.
If god was an it: I would be god.
fossil, that's a fine stance to take, and an admirable one.
On the subject of not offending others, at the risk of going off topic (but hey). I wasn't around then but i understand that some decades ago the consensus on offending others was rather different to today. Back then it was considered acceptable to challenge another's behaviour if one felt strongly that it was wrong. But then came the 60's and then Dr Spock and his "let baby do whatever they like" and now no-one is allowed to suggest to anyone that they, gasp, might actually be doing the wrong thing.
I have to say that 118193, whoever you may be, has a point. I try not to avoid offending people over religious beliefs for two reasons. The first is that no matter how hard you try they will probably be offended anyway, often simply because you choose not to believe in the same crap they do. The second reason is that religious people almost never respect my belief in there not being a god and my having chosen not to follow any religion or church. So I really don`t need some smug cunt telling me how ignorant I am because I don`t have =faith=, the most ignorant belief of all.
So I hope I have offended everybody´s religious beliefs but all equally regardless of the shape of the temple.
