System of a down does a cover of goodbye blue sky...it's pretty good, at least until the singer starts talking doom and gloom about the planet..

I've never seen the film but I've always been a fan of the album "The Wall" and Pink Floyd in general. I caught a show on PBS the other night of David Gilmour performing at The Royal Albert Hall a couple of years ago and the guy is just phenominal.

saw the movie in the theater when i was in high school..back then it was still acceptable to smoke cigarettes in such places, so nobody noticed, or maybe just didnt care, when we smoked a couple joints...i've watched that movie probably twenty times since then...would love to see it on the big screen again...

I saw Roger Waters tour a year or two ago doing the whole Dark Side Of The Moon plus other PF classics (at least pre-split classics).

He was incredible. I'd give anything to see PF in full force playing a show.

I'm a big fan of The Wall, and The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn reminds me of many a bong filled night in an old share house smiling smiley

All class.
