I like the doubling size idea, but I don't like the fact it's actually loading the full image on the front page and resizing it in-browser.

It takes ages to load compared to what it used to when it was just the generated thumb ...

I think my browser is broken, I cant get the homepage to "refresh".
It just shows the same IOTW (featured image) every time i access the site.
DK how can I fix this?

hey pulse, did you know there's a 'similar' feature now?
it shows other images similar to the one posted, and is often the case it shows other posts of the same image!!
dupes are often referred to as pullovers and sometimes links to aforementioned pullovers are posted as comments for the images...
