I'm sure some "reason" could be concocted by the CIA to get US
Marines activated down there if that's what DK wants. They could set up Toys for
Tots tables up and kick some criminal ass at the same time. Er, I mean some
criminals could get injured in a fall at the same time.

I think the actual story is better than the fake. The injured Marine turned up
the next day to still deliver the collected toys, and the other Marines with him
disarmed and subdued the attacker without breaking the law.
