The number after your name are the last 2 digits of your IP address. IP
addresses are in the format X.X.X.X - So, for example an IP address of
32.61.29.129 would give you a "number" of 29129. IP addresses range
from 0-255 so there's possibly 65,536 people with the same last 2 digits as
yourself.
This assumes, however, that you have a static and not a dynamic IP address that
changes every time you dial up/connect to the internet.
It is used simply to identify that one anonymous user is different to another in
image/forum posts. If you want something uniquely yours, register an account.
