ALL merchant, transport, and cruise vessels should be ARMED to thwart attacks
from these lawless apes.
My suggestions would include .50 cal Barrett M107s and M249 SAWs mounted port
and starboard, for all ships routinely navigating international waters off
Somalia.
I laughed my ass off when a British Royal Navy frigate blew two of the tiny
boats these assholes were in clean out of the water, and left the sole remaining
piece of shit cowering and quivering in the hold of his vessel while pieces of
his comrades were scattered about.

Well gee whiz, if the governments took all the guns away these misguided chaps
would have to find real employment then, wouldn't they?

I agree quasi. So how about you go ask them nicely for their guns

I'd like to see the insurance and shipping companies band together to sprinkle
in about 25% 'bait ships', heavily armed and packed with the meanest mofos they
can find, and just kill these fuckers until there either aren't enough left of
them to mount an assault, or decide the risks aren't worth it. I will leave it
up to the observer to figure out which particular group of the world's people
are only able to respect, fear, and respond to superior brutality.

except Somali pirates don't kill anyone, they just steal things, so no big deal
unless you own a shipping company. All of the reports from prisoners I have
read show them to be treating prisoners well. They can steal all the TVs from
Japan they want, I don't give a fuck. What they need is a govt. and no more
civil war.
