Fossil .. I didn't need to defend myself. 70% of americans think Bush is a poor president that has made huge promises that have all gone unfulfilled.

He can't get anything right. Not one thing.

Anonymous@233198 .. Did your 1 brain cell have a melt down after that gem ?

Crapper ... 18 polls came out in the last week all saying the american public thinks Bush is full of shit. that is why republican congressional candidates are running for cover. They don't want to be anywhere near Bush.

Im_in__DCs_mom@8761 .. My mom said you lacked the equipment to get her off. All 3 inches of ya.

HELLO America ... Getting your dick sucked is more important than starting a war on KNOWN =FALSE= premises (WMDs). They knew it was false.

aDCBeast you obviously get some perverse kick out of stirring up flame wars. You are obsessed. Strange to say the least. How are insurgents liberated Iraqis, who for the most part are indiscriminately slaughtering innocent Iraqis??? The insurgents are obviously ruthless sociopathic thugs. They enforce their ideals on others under the threat of summary execution. There doesn't seem to be any limits whatsoever to the depths of their depravity. They routinely break tenets any civilized society hold sacred. Is that the type of world you admire?
Although the degree of difficulty of bringing a part of the arab world into the 21st century may have been grossly underestimated, the goal is no less worthy. It would have been a very good thing for the entire region if Iraq could have been turned into a moderate, democratic, secular, and prosperous nation. I don't care what you think Bush's agenda is, the fact is many people are in fact working hard trying to make this a reality. The "liberated insurgents" are working hard at stopping this process by creating an atmosphere of anarchy and terror. They are sabotaging any signs of American reconstruction efforts or other help. This chaotic atmosphere is what the average Iraqi resents, not the democracy brought by the USA.

Anonymous@208121 ... nice propaganda you have spread there.

Insurgent is the wrong term to call members of the Sunni and Shia militia groups in Iraq. By definition insurgents revolt against an established government like the colonists did against King George. However, Sunni and Shia militia groups are not revolting against any government. They are in a war against an opposing tribe outside of any governmental structure.

You show the typical american naivete of not knowing the players in the current Iraq civil war. The Sunni and Shia militia groups have been fighting for decades in Iraq. Many of the atrocities wrongly attributed to Saddam Hussein were really just sectarian violence carried out by these militia groups.

I love your lame ass try to explain the militia group psychology. That was pure crap. The sectarian (tribal) war has been going on for centuries and predated Iraq.

Forcing a group that lives with a antiquated way of life to automatically jump to the 21rst century at the butt of a gun was the dumbest move ever. Patience was needed.

In a country that preaches toleration of religious views, many americans seem completely intolerant when it comes to others views. Hypocrites. These people have a right to live according to their religious views. And americans are just going to have to understand that. Otherwise it is completely acceptable for a judge in america to close all parochial schools on a whim. Close churches on a whim. Should some other country think these institutions are not good for america.

Most Iraqis do not want a democracy. The shia want a theocracy like Iran. The sunni want a dictator or single ruler. The kurds want power any way they can get it. Well that really explains all of their positions. They could care less about democracy. What ever brings them power.

The militias (insurgents) is what gave them power pre-invasion. It's what gives them power now. And it will continue to give them power in the future when the US pulls out.

I've been there. I just got back from Balad, Iraq a few months ago. Trust me, the insurgents are not liberrated Iraqis. The insurgents are coming in over the border from Syria, Iran and Saudi, Arabia.
