Actually US law enforcement didn't catch 1 bad guy breaking the law using
wiretaps.
The apprehensions and questioning lead to results.

wiretaps might have caught some, or at least zeroed in on some. who will ever
know? several have been caught, could it be from tap intel? but i guarantee we
collected some good intel. rights? you don't have any when it comes to national

funny, Ive never seen any public documents saying,"today an attack on the
dam at lake Powell has been averted" or maybe,"AL qaeda members were
killed by snipers outside the u.s. embassy in Taiwan today before they could
detonate themselves inside". or, the list goes on and on. there are things
that should not be public......like wiretaps or troop movements, averted
attacks,intel,troop strenghths,future plans. etc. etc. etc. I'm sure there have
been plenty of attacks diffused w/o ever getting to the "news". the
news agencies are jeopardizing our national security for the sake of saying they
got the story first! they don't even care if it's true or not, they just
say,"by an unconfirmed report....." w.t.f.!
