Tiw, OK maybe Nazi Germany would never have been able to cross the channel, and
that kept you safe. But what exactly do you think would have kept Stalin from
overrunning all of Europe? A bit of water wouldn't have stopped him, trust me.
It took a monumental effort by the US (yes allies too) and an unfathomable
amount of money to contain the Soviet Union. Or do you think he was really a
nice guy and not an egomaniacal sociopath bent on siezing whatever power he
could get his hands on?
