Ready? Now pay attention...

Joe Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $ 1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00
Per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; Joe Legal now has
$31,231.00.

Jose Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or
$31,200.00 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes. Jose Illegal now has
$31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for
His family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe Legal now
Has $24,031.00.

Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and
Local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has
$31,200.00.

Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or
Welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per
Year. Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.

Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps
And welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. Joe
Legal now has $9,631.00.

Jose Illegal receives a $500.00 per month federal rent subsidy. Jose
Illegal pays $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Jose Illegal
Still has $ 31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for insurance. Joe Legal
Now has $7,231.00.

Jose Illegal says, "We don't need no stinkin' insurance!" and still has

Jose Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.

Joe Legal's and Jose Illegal's children both attend the same school. Joe
Legal pays for his children's lunches while Jose Illegal's children get
A government sponsored lunch. Jose Illegal's children have an after
School ESL program. Joe Legal's children go home.

Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services,
But Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay.

False. Jose does have a SS#, although it is fake. The company pays him in a check, taking all taxes out of it trying to appear legal. But Jose doesn't file with the IRS in April, so the government gets to keep all his tax money, no refunds. Also, he pays into social security, but will never collect.

The above comment is true in some cases and not in others. Regardless, Joe Illegal is a federal criminal as he and his family are here in total indifference to our immigration laws, takes jobs Americans have the right to, which he as a federal criminal does not, has rights to health care, food stamps, housing assistance even lawful US citizens are denied which then is slipped outta the back pockets of working Americans so we all still lose in the long run

Why is it that jose illegal is the bad person here. Shouldn't employers that hire 'jose illegal' be made accountable? and by that i mean seriously accountable, not just a slap.. enabling employers to be able to verify social security numbers would be useful if not already possible..

So Jose Illegal shouldn't have any accountability for his own actions? Remember, he started the process by crossing the border illegally, the border didn't cross him and he didn't just accidentally make a wrong turn and wind up here, it required deliberate wilful action on his part to break our immigration laws.

In honesty DK there are ample laws and regulations in place to apprehend, try and deport the illegals yet the government instead chooses to turn a blind eye to the whole thing and has even moved so far off point as to disallow enforcement by local or state authorities, which seems absolutely inane.

Though 2 yrs ago this issue, like the whole national HC bullshit, received huge national attention and the people flooded congress with calls, emails and faxes to voice their disapproval with a piece of legislation set to outright grant amnesty to the illegals, so the measure failed. There was hope by most that this would signal simple enforcement of the immigration laws, but it didn't, nor was any real effort even put forth for them to do so.

Now, 2yrs later with an average of 10-17k still streaming across the borders monthly many in congress, lead by our POS prez intend to take up amnesty again. Of course it's called "immigration reform" but he's already made it plain that granting amnesty is the intent of this legislation ... again.

Dunno about you cats down under but our govt. seems to do mostly what they think is best and to hell with the American peoples thoughts on their actions. They seem to have totally lost sight of whom is the employer and whom is the employee

Jose Illegal also belongs to a gang in California and is not afraid of the legal system and does whatever he wants. With so many illegals belonging to violent gangs around the country the only solution to the problem would be all out war in the streets with these gangs utilizing the military to do it. Police departments are just not equipped to handle the problems as the gangs are better armed then they are. The only way to remove the illegals from this country now is to find and eradicate them.
