The state of Florida has had a Measles outbreak of well over 100 cases, I believe nearly 200 at one point, and while that doesn't seem like a lot for a state as populous as this, all but a handful of those cases were among students of Ave Maria University. The town and university of Ave Maria are a planned community that didn't exist before 2005. Founded by Tom Monaghan who also founded the Dominos Pizza chain, it caters to Catholics though all are welcome there and has an estimated current population of about 8200. That's a huge number of cases in that small a population and makes me think that roughly 20 years ago there were a lot of young, Catholic parents who decided vaccinations were unnecessary and got religious exemptions. I wonder how they and their affected children feel about that decision now.

English exam's used to have a section titled "comprehension".
And you had to read a sentence or paragraph and demonstrate that you understood or comprehended its meaning.
Perhaps my generation was the last to learn comprehension and sit those English exam's.
Vaccines work, they have changed the world for the better. But they are not mandated by law and that is proper.
Seat belts work, they save lives. But as they are mandated compulsory by law the response to this screenshot/post shows the low IQ and lack of comprehension of the pro-vax troll.

The only lack of IQ is expressed by the OP. The response was a simple analogy that the low IQ OP should be able to understand, a teaching moment by someone who understands the hazards and can explain them to a simpleton in a way that's easily understood, not low IQ at all. Your beef is with government mandates, not the IQ of the responder. If anything, the analogy fails to express that vaccines protect the population in general, those beyond the person being vaccinated who are legitimately unable to be vaccinated which perhaps implies that vaccines are more deserving of mandates than seatbelts and airbags for the welfare of all, but it does resonate with the selfish motives of most if not all anti-vaxxers. Suppose, as an anti-tax proponent, that the Australian government throws out it's heavily restrictive gun laws and universal health care programs. You could be just like the good old USA where you can be shot anywhere, anytime and, if lucky enough to survive, go bankrupt from the ensuing medical bills.
