I used to have so many awesome Nintendo Game & Watch style games.
Wish I had any fucking idea where anything I used to own is. Most likely sold,
thrown or just lost to time.

There's a lot to be said for buying your own detached house with storage space
and just living there. You travelled about a lot overseas for work and had to
jettison things. I can relate with my house moves.

Yep elements of that. I moved out of home a week after I turned 18. I have a
very small amount of crap at my mother's place but really not much. So much
stuff I wish I still had but don't after probably 20 moves. Hell, my wife and I
have moved to 10 places together in the 20 years we've known each other, 4 of
which we bought, the rest were rentals between houses or renovations etc.
At various stages, such as when I moved overseas, I pretty much chucked
everything I had and started again. Similarly when I came back.
I'm sure there's several times that mum has said "what should I do with
X?" and I've told her just to throw it away because I couldn't be bothered
dealing with it, and definitely regret it now. I'd love some of my old PCs etc
but all I have of them is a stack of old hard drives which probably no longer
work.
Oh well. Not much I can do about it now. Maybe I should become a hoarder.

My parents would not stump up for a split screen like Donkey Kong.
They had never heard of Donkey Kong, so I got Popeye.
