Finally got a hold of some fresh ghost chilis! My youngest daughter just sent
me a batch, so at long last, I got to try 'em, along w/some interesting ghost
chili sauces too.
Not nearly as hot as I had expected. Made a quiche and some meaty queso dip
w/some of 'em and they came out far less "picosso" than expected.
Even made some scrambled cheesy eggs and chopped one up and threw it into the
mix.
The reaction I get is far less dramatic than what I find on youtube

The only thing that matters Kim, is do you like it?

Let me guess, MrsKim, you can also bench press 150 kilos and run the 100 in
under 10 seconds.

I was thinking exactly the same thing quasi.
But I did bait them both with this repost.
Having said that, a lot of Southerners have a freakish tolerance and love for
hot chilli/s (I know because I have met a total of 2 in my lifetime).
Scientifically it is proven you can build a resistance by regular and increased
consumption and a lot of Tex-mexicans are living proof of that. I love chilli
but my tolerance is "Aussie hot" and that's exactly how I request my
vindaloo.

I order mine Indian hot when I go out for food with my old project manager.
Never let me down so far.
I'm a 9/10. Have met only one thing ever that was too hot for me to eat...
