Yep, she stepped off the bus at a campaign event and devoted 3 whole minutes to
questions before scurrying away.
How generous of her to share such a wealth of information. Of course every
question was answered with nothing but vague generalities, all fluff and no
concrete details.
I'll give her points for one thing though, she didn't end every comment with
her annoying cackle

First: Polls come from various sources with various slants. At any given moment
you will hear Trump cite some poll, real or fabricated, saying that he is
X-amount ahead of his competition, or speaking of television ratings. So as we
have seen a few times, like in the 2016 election, polling doesn't tell the whole
story and should be mostly ignored.
Second: 3 points is not a big margin. It's more like three inches than three
kilometers, and is subject to change with further polling or time.
Third: Technically she
is the underdog here. Trump is the name-brand
candidate doing all the talking, Biden was the name in the other slot until he
wasn't and to be honest was slipping even within his own party. So she's had to
fight to establish that there is a qualified candidate in the other slot, and
the press for her has worked. Okay, that and Biden stepping out so the slipping
in the party can be abutted. And to repeat the second item: 3 points is not a
big margin and is subject to change, so there's no resting on the laurels.
One candidate's tact is to do her job as VP while concurrently running for
president. Maybe she should have more interviews, but she's busy getting things
done and doesn't spend all of her time talking about herself or talking smack
about her opponent.
The other candidate's tact is to armchair quarterback and smear, since he is
physically unable to do more than flap his gums... and attend his court
hearings.

Yep, I get it! No need for her to speak publicly to the electorate at large, I
mean why bother when she has all these wonderful apologists waiting in the wings
to do it for her
