A thousand burned out Hertz cars were brought to the scrap yard near where I live. 2500 Avis and Enterprise hulks went to other scrap yards.

In Australia that would be $0.20 per Kilo' minus some fudge factor for he rust I guess.
Not sure what the haulage would cost but I doubt there is much profit for anyone in this disaster.
