Sometimes I think there oughta be a licensing requirement before being allowed to buy tools :>/

Kinda gets in the way of my libertarian sensibilities but simple logic needs to enter the picture from time to time, so ...

With a red and black wire nutted together (confusing enough in itself), then screwed through a piece of cord (without even a decent ring terminal on sight!) we have no idea of whether it's a single stranded piece of cabling or a hunk of multistranded cabling they've screwed through so it would seem there are too many unknown variables shown to assure any type of outcome, other than a justifiable WTF??

At least in the realm of electrical tools the Darwinian effect seems to eventually weed out the need for tool licensing s
