Wish I still had the recording of the National Lampoons "Radio 1/2 Hour Show" from back in the 70s where they did a whole show on a Thompson S Hunter road trip

One of my favorite movies

I've had road trips (hell, weekends) that resemble it in more ways than one.. less the sodomy of the underage girl

My attorney had never been able to accept the notion, often espoused by former drug abusers, that you can get a lot higher without drugs than with them, and neither have I for that matter.

That movie is totally hilarious. I'd like to see it again soon. It's been a while. The two scenes that stick in my mind are the one about him freaking about the bats and the one with the oranges being thrown at the attorney guy in the bathtub. No drugs don't fuck you up man, not at all. LOL!
