there was a program over in england where a navy seal, pathfinder and US marine tried to track down an ex SAS soldier in a south american jungle. I have got to say the the SAS guy was on his own with minium gear and the yanks had gps and the lot. The americans never even got a stiff of him until they walked into a couple of his boobie traps. Then the navy seal had to be taken out due to heat exhaustion and the pathfinder got the other two lost. Big armies and whatever dont always mean good armies and the best trained forces on earth are the HM Forces. Please feel free to argue, just check the records.

That's sort of stupid, any fool would know it's much easier to hide in a jungle than it would be to find someone in one. They're Special Forces troops, not bloodhounds.

yes you spanner, but they knew where he was heading and they were trying to follow his tracks. Im just stating that the SAS are the best and they dont have all this over hyped bullshit surrounding them. There is another picture on this website of a group of Navy Seals posing for a picture. What special force poses for a photo.

devildog your plainly not english or you would of seen or heard about the program. The name of the show eludes my memory just now but it was a spin off of the 'SAS,Are you tough enough'programs over here. The guy in question is called chris ryan, or thats the name he goes by in books and tv. i bet your american, you can just tell.

that programme rocked, best thing was he had been retired for 5 years and the fellas trackin him down had been awarded medals and shit for what they did in the jungle and they were all established trackers in there platoon, i will give them hype they did get really close when he had to run across the beach to get in the escape boat but then agen they did walk past him when he was 6 foot away in the bushes lol, check out the bbc archives if you dont believe us,

its the yanks they cant handle that us english are more efficient in so many ways, like the army, fuel economy and hey we are the richest country in the world in cases of currency exchange, and i neva seen a territorial map of the u.s's places they rule, check back to the 1800's wen wh ran more then half the world, and we are only a little country, you yanks do my nut in

WOW still no one can tell me what "program" this is. I am a fan of the SAS but I really admire the Marine Force Recon and Navy Seals. Did this program try it with the roles reversed? I doubt it. Trying to track someone with the kind of training that all of these guys have and it is not easy, I know from experiance.

For DYN I have done some training with the Royal Marines and they run around with billy clubs to chase off intruders in exclusion areas where your country stores its most sensitive weapons. Its almost funny watching them and scary thinking about it. I have many stories just like this one.

I believe everyone should be proud of who they are and where they come from. Yes I am a proud "yank".

I like Brits, but you bloody fucks are damn jealous that you haven't the balls to go through the traning to be any type of Special Force man whether Seal, Recon or SAS. How about you shut your blow hole and we'll see if you can last in the jungle hunt!
