How thoughtful and profound
anon... the average intelligence here just
took a nose dive. Doesn't anyone read the news anymore? Obviously they are all
three stupid assholes for killing half their immediate family over something
that amounts to a dress code violation.
How many
anons are there here anyway?

Well put Blah - and I agree he does look like a love child of Ed Asner and Bob
Hoskins.
At least the Canadian courts didn't pander to any 'it's our culture' BS.
I have no issue with people who have moved to another country still practising
their culture and traditions, as long it is within the laws of their chosen
country, and ideally within the accepted norms of their chosen country. I
believe that we can learn a lot from each other's cultures and like the
diversity of multiculturalism, but if you aren't prepared to adapt to the
country you have chosen to move to you can always choose to leave again.

I agree GAK, unless you're British and it's the 18th century. Then you do the
opposite, quickly outnumber the indigenous population and install your own laws
and culture as the norm'.

I think that term is so funny, "Love child." LOL! It sounds so much
nicer than bastard.
Good point Berto.
Well, here we are in OUR great modern world and if any of you tribal
motherfuckers want to be part of it you damn well better play by OUR fucking
rules. That means no killing unless we tell you to and definitely NOT over
dressing slutty. Girls are allowed to dress as slutty as they (and we) like as
long as they ain't jail-bait.

I just watched a 1978 episode of "The Rockford Files" that dealt with
a family wanting to perform an honor killing on a young woman who had an affair
after her husband had mutiple affairs. I'd bet that at the time the program was
first shown the majority of viewers thought it was just a stereotype and things
like that don't really happen. It's a shame that while our awareness has been
raised there still exist people who would do such a thing.

There was an NCIS episode I saw some time ago that was a similar piece of shit.
I'm sure screen writers will cap' in on more of the same while it's still fresh
and alarming in people's minds too.
It surprises me that a person could be sophisticated enough and have the means
in this world to be able to move to a civilized country from such a dark-ages
mentality ridden place where such killings occur and hang onto that stupid and
appalling way of thought. It just doesn't add up in my mind. It isn't simply a
matter of courtesy and customs like you'd expect anyone from another country and
culture to adapt to here (and vice versa). It isn't as simple as a matter of
going to the East and becoming accustomed to giving and receiving things with
the right hand because they wipe their asses with their left hands, this kind of
shit goes far beyond that sort of thing. It isn't a cultural thing, it is a
barbaric murderous piece of shit thing.

Isn't that the name of some punk metal thrash band?
woberto Report This Comment Date: February 02, 2012 01:03AM
No, you're thinking of Buster Hymen and the Bloody Penitrators.
They used to play support acts for the Cunning Stunts in the 80's.

Nope, I was close though, Bastard Love Child of Rock N Roll is the name of an
indie-rock band (duo) out of Florida. I knew I'd read/heard that name before.
