I read something in Farmer's Almanac probably 30 years ago that said you are
likely to be related to any other random person in the world within 15
generations. We are all in this shit together one way or another. Global
awareness accelerated by faster communications will eventually sink in to
everyone's consciousness to some degree. And no, that does not equate to
supporting one world government to think that way. It just means we have to
consider everyone and think about how what we do affects everyone else. It's
still the Golden Rule. Don't be an asshole.

Enlighten me. I know Ubuntu is a very popular distro of linux and everyone and
their brother is into it, but that's it. How and why is it any better than any
other linux distro? Not being negative, I just want your opinion because I
haven't had the time, opportunity or computer to try it on and as strange as it
may seem, I do value your opinion, but don't get a big head about it.

Look I'll make it easy for you. Give me 3 good
reasons to use Ubuntu over any other distro I've used (Redhat, Mandrake, Suse,
BSD, a coupla others en passant). Or even 1 good reason if it's a really good
reason. I can already think of a few but I want YOUR opinion.
