Actually, I'm pleadin the 5th on this one. Having swapped so many files over the years I have no idea where the BEPs stuff came from & I have since dumped 'em too.

Fair's fair though, I've dumped many gigs of Cuntry (<- insert pukin smiley here) I got from fossil.

But ... I've also been turned onto a boatload of good Blues, R&B and Jazz he had in his collection too, so it's all good over the long haul

Regardless, if everyone liked the same stuff it would be pretty boring all in all, so again

I don't hear a lot of difference between country and rock or blues or jazz or folk these days, or any combination of them. The genres for popular music seem to have lost definition. Especially when there are so called "country" groups like Rascal Flatts. Sounds just like another boy band to me. On the other hand cRap and Hiphop belong in a category all their own... in the circular file.

I try not to but I have a kid and the kid shows are full of it. Now days they think a tweenie-bopper (who is really at least 18 irl) sounds cool/sexy as long as she/he breathes heavily into a mic. Back in the days of real music that shit was avoided at all costs, which is why they put wind-screens and pop-filters in front of mics and trained singers to breathe quietly. Not no mo. Now it's all the rage. I blame Disney channel mostly but Nickers-load-eon isn't any better. Dress em up in revealing outfits, teach em lewd dance moves and hear em do some heavy breathing.
