jgoins, you said we should just kick them all out and I agree, well, Rand Paul
is on his way in and he was never one of them, he has a clean slate..... the
only thing I don't agree with him on so far is his foreign policy.... this is
his first ever political stand and the people spoke.

Let's get one thing understood. When I say we should vote them out of office,
the "them" I am talking about is everyone who currently holds office
in congress regardless of their party line affiliation. I really don't care who
gets voted in to office in their place but the newcomers should understand that
Americans are tired of the same old bullshit and we can remove them in 2 years
if they do not listen to us. I really don't give a flying fart who gets voted
in as long as they replace an incumbent. I am not looking for a political
party, I am only looking for a major change.

Well said, I totally agree.

Let everyone you know know that November election needs to be about removal and
not about politics or ideology.

Off Topic.....
Damn, Mrkim! Is this how it is around your place?

It's funny how the Border Patrol are ordered to fuck with American citizens at
checkpoints that are far away from the actual borders but then the Federal
Government just ignores the 3rd world country infiltration of our towns and our
people.
People sit around and say how the government is so stupid but they just don't
get it, they can't get it into their heads that America is being ripped to
pieces from the inside on purpose.... and the lame comfortable citizens just sit
around and take care of themselves, so much for standing together as one. Divide
and Conquer.
Communism used to be the National fear-mongering ritual..... now it's
Terrorism.... wake the fuck up!

Fake eye doctor huh? Just like all of the liberal shit-talkers you only give
part of the story... you try to slash and burn... very destructive.... downright
prejudice.
He's passed it many times before, so quit trying to just put people down to try
to get ahead in the political game.

Rand Paul has released a statement, explaining that he avoided getting certified
by the American Board of Ophthalmology due to a principled stance against some
of their practices:
I took the American Board of Ophthalmology (the largest governing body in
ophthalmology) boards in 1995, passed them on my first attempt (as well as three
times during residency), and was therefore board-certified under this
organization for a decade.
In 1997, I, along with 200 other young ophthalmologists formed the National
Board of Ophthalmology to protest the American Board of Ophthalmology’s
decision to grandfather in the older ophthalmologists and not require them to
recertify.
I thought this was hypocritical and unjust for the older ophthalmologists to
exempt themselves from the recertification exam.
In forming NBO, the younger ophthalmologists agreed to require
recertification for all ophthalmologists.
In my protest to the American Board, I asked, “If the ABO thinks that
qualify of care would be improved by board testing every decade, shouldn’t
this apply to all doctors, not just those of a certain age? In fact, many of us
argue that the older ophthalmologists need recertification even more since they
are more distant from their training. CONT.
[

---------------------------------
He can claim he is "board certified" since all board certification is
a private matter. His is the NBO which he happens to own, but if he had a
certificate from a cereal box that proclaimed "board certification"
that would be true too.
Parenthetically, there are physicians who complain that the ten year rule of the
ABMS is simply a money making scheme. There is some validity to that argument
since 90% of those recertifying pass the boards again. It costs around $2K-$3K
to recertify which is usually a written or computer generated test.
Board Certification started out as a way of determining who the
"elite" physicians were by way of testing. Each specialty has its own
board and over the years the certification has gone from "elite" to
mandatory if you want to practice in most hospitals. Certification boards are
all private corporations, not state entities.
As a result of this use of certification (and the fact that it is a lucrative
business) there have been alternative certification boards that are not
recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) often in
"specialties" not recognized by that board. There are a variety of
reasons why certification boards such as the one that Dr. Paul started but in
general they are not as rigorous as those of the ABMS.
Board certification is not needed to practice medicine in any state and is
voluntary. Most hospitals require it for their staff (or at least require that
you attempt to get it.) There is a disparity amongst specialties as to pass
rate. Radiation Oncology has a very low rate (possibly 35%, they won't publish
the figures any more) as does Psychiatry and Neurology while some boards have a
90+% pass rate. Fairly recently the ABMS certification boards went to the 10
year rule in which a re-certification process occurs every ten years. In general
the pass rate for recert is in the 90% range. Certification preparation is also
a big business these days.
Continuing Medical Education (CME), on the other hand, is an ongoing process
dictated by each state. Some states require 50 hours while others demand less.
You don't have to go to an exotic place with your mistress to get them, the two
of you can get CME credits online or locally at meetings, usually for free.
Dr. Rand Paul is a well educated eye doctor with impeccable credentials. It
appears that he has an outpatient practice (not unusual) and is a competent
practitioner. He has no complaints against him on the KY Board of Medical
Licensure site.

Nah man, Ft. Hancock is 625 miles from me here. If I were faced with what
those cats down there are on a daily basis they'd be draggin a whole lotta dead
bodies off my place. In Texas you have the right to defend your property with
deadly force. We already played Texans and Mescans once and I can't see a 2nd
round bein any better for 'em today.
Here's an interesting lil piece of history few people know. The term
"gringo" comes from when the Texas army was marching into Mexico en
masse. The troops commonly sang a song called "Green Grows the Grass"
as they marched so the scouts monitoring the troop movements started callin 'em
"gringos". But, it gets better .... the song was about how they were
gonna kill all the Mescans and fuck their women which is why the term is
typically considered derogatory from the Mescan point of view. Another side note
the Mescans don't like to discuss is the number of Mescans that JOINED the Texas
forces and fought against Santa Anna and also marched on Mexico with the Texas
troops.
'Round here we just have to wonder if they're illegal or not since our fuckin
governor won't let the cops even ask if they are or not. I've watched my whole
life here as the complexion of my home state gets ever darker from the additions
to the overall population by the ever increasing percentage of illegals.
Growin up there were always Mescan families around and I went to school with
many of 'em. They were always pleasant people, hard workers, family and church
oriented and took care of their own without askin the govt for anything. We got
along fine as we respected them and they did the same for us, as it should
be.
Today that's not the case with the influx of illegals who you'll commonly see
jammin the emergency rooms at the hospitals for health care they never pay for,
whippin out their Lone Star Cards (Texas uses a debit card like card for food
stamps) at the grocery stores, hangin out at the "day Laborer" centers
and such. Many of them fly their Mescan flags, have Mescan flag stickers on
their cars and if you press any of for any personal details get really defensive
and will tell you "Fuck off Gringo, I have rights and you can't do shit to
me." That's an attitude we friendly Texans have a tough time grasping
In 2006 they had a march in Dallas with over 1/2 a million all wavin their
fuckin Mexican flags and DEMANDING their "rights" be recognized. If
we had any kind of real federal government they'd just bring out fleets of buses
and ICE agents for these demonstrations and check 'em out and load up all the
illegals. Why they don't is all too telling of our govts. underlying agenda

LOL!
You caught me off guard, I cracked up.
Thanks for those lessons up there, I never heard of that "Green Grows the
Grass," thanks for that whole insider Texas view.
One thing that shocked me in
that video
up there was how the Sheriff was the one telling the people around there to arm
themselves and be ready, I wish our Sheriffs were like that, a true
American.
You know it's really bad, the betrayal by the Federal Government, when even the
Sheriffs are saying that they are being abandoned by the Feds.

Why would you need a Sheriff to tell you to arm yourselves? Just do it on your
own and act like you are not armed then nobody will know. I live in a small
town in Arkansas and have seen Mexicans arming themselves by buying guns from
the local fleamarket and yard sales where there is no paperwork required and
paying outrageous prices for them. They are clearly arming themselves for
something so I see nothing wrong with us arming ourselves as well. We have
clearly been invaded and no formal war has been declared by either government
even though conflict seems in our future. Another Alamo may be in our future
very soon.
