The economies in North America especially became way too top heavy. Lots of chiefs, not so many Indians. Everyone getting degrees that no employer needs. Skyrocketing prices that require executive type salaries just to live an 'average' life. Service industry jobs being filled by illegals because no one else wanted the pay. It was all bound to collapse in on itself.

I count myself lucky to have had a relatively successful run as a self employed individual in IT for 20 years but even still my high school buddy who became a stone mason is laughing at me all the way to the bank.

Go get a degree my high school counselors said... trades are for morons. Yeah, rich morons
