Hell of a hood ornament, especially when you have no hood. I'm betting she
blows off in the wind though.

Second thought.. how did she get up there? Awfully understanding car owner to
let a model climb your blower stack and perch on top of it.
(...now I sit back and wait for the comments on the phrase "...let a model
climb your blower stack..."

)

What a terrible fate for a beautiful old Pontiac GTO.

Stackin a heat pumpin, power robbin blower on top of another heat pumpin power
robbin blower is a great exercise in futility, not to mention a phenomenal waste
of cash. Until someone creates a blower that somehow manages to make boost
without addin tons of heat into the intake charge, with no way to even cool it
they'll never even come close to what a turbo system can do in terms of overall
efficiency which is what performance is all about

Agreed but building a monstrosity like this isn't about real power, it's all
about looks. Kinda like 22" chrome wheels on a Honda.

Prolly so, prolly so
I've often wondered what kinda HP could be achieved with a turbo set up coupled
with a top fuel budget. I figure the 6000-8000hp they're gettin these days
would be blown into the weeds. 'Course they'd have to come up with even heftier
drive trains to be able to hold the huge increases in HP they'd be gettin.
F-1 used to get 1000+hp from turboed 1.5L engines (w 80+psi of boost even
before the advent of computer
controlled engine management!!!) before they eventually banned 'em as too
powerful
