A Chief of Staff that has dual-citizenship? (Lots of dual-citizens)
You guys are alright with that huh?
Nothing like creating a crisis.....

Oh... and... by the way.... his father, Benjamin M. Emanuel, a Jerusalem-born
pediatrician, was a member of a militant Zionist group.

Is your beef with dual nationality in general or dual Israeli-American
nationality?
hcam Report This Comment Date: November 09, 2009 10:05PM
How's this? Both!
If you want to get specific, it is disgusting that we have a Chief of Staff in
the Whitehouse that use to be in with the Israeli Defense Forces, supposedly
just a good ol' volunteer
who did nothing but fix truck breaks. ("Official Story"
As an American, no, I don't think anyone should be allowed dual-citizenship, if
you choose to become a US citizen then you should have to give up your other
official citizenship instead of trying to milk America of all the benefits of
being an American.
Now, being in any kind of Government/Official position and being a dual-citizen
is a downright security glitch, even 100 times worse than the average
dual-citizen.

I don't see a problem with dual citizenship. Lots of legal immigrants come here
to study or work, get citizenship, contribute to development, pay taxes and then
go back to their country of birth for whatever reason. I agree having someone
with dual citizenship in an important government post at best looks bad,
especially when it's with country that polarizes opinion as much as Israel. You
can't imagine someone holding citizenship from China or a predominantly Muslim
country would ever do that job. Or even France. C'est la vie.

Just another imprudent choice made the puppetmaster. Although he swore to make
such sweeping changes (and he has!) he's also managed in many ways to continue
on in his predecessors footsteps, which of course he decried and belittled
throughout his campaign. This all changed as soon as he took office, as was to
be expected

mrkim, that was good stuff, I put it in my favorites.
Here's a quote I found recently having to do with "equal
rights"....... it hit the nail on the head for me.
“Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in
slavery than unequal in freedom.”
--Alexis de Tocqueville (
Democracy in America)
