I'll be takin' my Buell Firebolt (aka Harleys rocketbike) this year. I live "right" up the parkway in Roanoke. Shoot me a message and maybe we'll match up our time frames.

Deals gap has got some curves but you should check out SR130, SR501, and SR60 (it's a big loop) near Natural Bridge VA. It makes Tail of the Dragon a little more mundane.
