My world changed today at 4:05pm when my Mom lost her near year long battle with cancer. At only 68, 4 months and 5 days she was taken from us far too soon.

There's a hole in my soul I'm unsure can ever be re-filled.

My sincerest condolences. I lost my Dad just under a month ago so I feel your pain. My thoughts are with you.

Thanks to you all for the kind sentiments regarding my Moms passing.

To those of you like Onyma who have faced similar losses, my heart truly goes out to you too. Never having known such a loss in my life, I now know the grave sadness with which it shrouds the survivors. Though I had pondered this scenario many times throughout my life, no amount of forethought or preparation can truly prepare one for when cruel fate deals such a hand.

As my business partner, confidant, best advisor, biggest fan and most assuredly my greatest teacher as well as the only true constant I've ever known in my life, I have lost so much more than just my Mom in her passing.

I feel adrift, lost, as if some boat freed from its moorings, floating in deep dark waters, unsure when I will again gain steady purchase, solid attachment to this existence we know as life.

Just know, the sincere condolensces, you, my friends here, have sent my way, mean more than you could imagine, and I thank you each one for that sustinence in this troubling time. I bow to you one and all, and salute you as well.
