Very dubious. The stock losses are real enough, but can $1000 of beer be worth over $200? At $3 per six pack of the cheap stuff, that would be 2000 cans. I think it takes 30 or so cans to make a pound (or so that is what I remember from Boy Scount aluminum can collection way back when). So we would have 67 pounds of aluminum. Metalprices.com quotes it at $1 a pound for ingots -- and there is a little work to get a pile of cans back to being an ingot and then the scrap dealer needs his margin.

So I would be surprised if you could get more than $30 for you $1000 of beer.

Unless maybe your state has a can deposit. In that case, you just end up drinking $200 less beer, but you would have your money still. But then you would not have really spent $1000 on beer. To do this you would have to take the deposit and cycle it around until you purchased your last beer -- then you would have some change

A much better question would be how much pussy you could have gotten for $1000. Here the strategies are varied. Maybe you still buy beer or fancier drinks. Maybe you oredr Rohypnol from Mexico. Maybe you just buy it outright. The answer should be between 2 and 20 depending on the variables and how good looking you are to start with.

On the otherhand, with WaMu shares, for example, you would have only gotten fucked once.

blinkerman is right, the post has bullshit in it, now on the other hand you may be able to get laid 20 times down South for $1000 but the Doctor is gonna charge you $2,500 to fix your 'Hammer' ....

I only drive now if I have taken my meds (smoked pot). as for drinking (a really a lot, more than 3 beers) I don't do it at all anymore
