Looks familiar, but why has it taken so long?

Different project altogether, but both are 2.4l turbo hybrids which are my
specialty

How much to ship one to Australia?
I much prefer V8's but you do nice work.

Thanks for the kind compliment dude!
I made a stead fast rule some years back to not sell an engine unless I do the
complete build and installation work.
I've been tempted many times to sell mail order short blocks and long blocks but
have always shyed away from the idea since I only warranty my own work and never
risk payin for anyone elses errors by doin it all myself.
Having to warranty even one engine in 50 from someone elses mistakes would
essentially have me workin for free by the time you throw in freight charges,
fresh core block/head then pistons/rods/bearings and gasket costs, then add in
all the inherent machine work and custom touches I add to my engines which add
up to quite a bit of personal TLC time all in all.
Last I heard Magnus Motorsports in Canada gets about $4500 US for just a
shortblock like this with Eagle rods, Ross pistons (I think) and bearings.
I do the same build for around $3000 but prefer Wisecos over the Rosses due to
their more stable thermal expansion coefficient and tighter cylinder to bore
clearances
