Kill it ? Unless you have livestock to lose or were out huntin for it why
would you ? I wish a cat like that was truly tameable. I'd love to have a big
cat like that for a pet !

When they lose their dear of humans and come in that close they become too
dangerous and something will have to be done with it. I understand we are
encroaching into their territories more and more but since nothing can be done
about us having to expand our territories there will be more and more encounters
with wildlife adapting in ways which are undesirable for us.

Pop him with a taser from the window. That should be enough human contact for
him. No long term harm to the cat either.
