funny story here is in the 40's a worker at the ranch was jailed for public intox. and my mom had just gotten her license. the sheriff called my grandfather said they had Elmer in jail, fine was 9 dollars and if he wanted he could come pick him up. my mom went to get him and take him back to the ranch (his house out there) and said he sung all the way home. it took him 2 weeks to work off his fine. classic!

fossil`s mom paid the fine for the rancher and he had to nail her every day for two weeks to pay the fine back, thus was the Mighty Fossil put upon this earth.

Just a guess cos I couldn`t see the funny side either...
