Hey, all you elected politicians and media types and academics! I'm just an average guy. I wake up and I go to work and I have a family. I don't know much about Shi'ites, Sunnis, Wahhabis, Salafists, Imams, Mullahs, root causes, or the desire for democracy in the Muslim world or whatever. My mind can grasp these concepts just fine, the fact of the matter is I just don't care. I don't know much about all that stuff, but there is one thing I do know: when a bunch of "death-to-america" chanting yahoos want to destroy our culture, attack our cities, down our aircraft, and build nuclear weapons, then they are entitled to the business end of a B52.

Maybe you ought to find out what their bitching about before you decide something concerning their safety. Did that ever occur to you ? that maybe the US did something to them first ?

Since they are a 3rd world nations the only means they have to do something about it is to chant in the streets or have a suicide bomber do

If they had the wealth of the US they would have used a conventional military strike to stop US aggression in their country. but they don't.

Stop making excuses for the US, French, and British governments behavior over the past 150 years. Making excuses like "what can I do about it" is what has allowed these governments to have people leading them that commit acts of aggression in islamic countries that bring future attacks.

You would think americans would have learned something from slavery. That treating people as subhuman is wrong and is counterproductive to your own goals as a nation.
