In true MBZ fashion, it will be fraught with software and hardware problems, cost $4000 to repair when it's out of warrantee, and create yet another distraction for today's "preoccupied" driver, with cell phones, Bluetooth headsets, Ipods, navs, and DVD entertainment systems keeping them from what's really important...their attention on the road.

It is easy to distinguish the techno-phobes here. It would be overlaid and could even cover every window with relative ease so everyone can use it smiling

I've often though a HUD for the speedo/tach/temp/oil pressure/and boost(turbo vehicles) would be useful to help better monitor these functions without having to take your eyes off the road.

Ah ... a gear heads dream :>P
