Easy, line up the apples and cut off 1/3 from each. I don't see the point unless you're teaching Stalinism: you pick up the knife and kill one of the others. See! One apple each! The plentiful bounty of communism! Except it didn't actually work that way, one of the reasons for the fall of the USSR is that communism doesn't allow for the creation of resources, and the population out grew their resources. Children in the USSR were going to school in rags. People in Yugoslavia had to steal to survive. China has avoided the problem.

Or are you in the yank media and teaching your population Darwinist culture - exactly the same as Stalinism.
