That feels like a hard yes. Anyone else? Could still have a sort by newest option like you select for recent comments in there. At least I'll make my suggestion a selectable option because the gallery is all static.

Bleh. Jerk. Anyway, I've woken up without too bad a hangover today. I've been considering changing the way the gallery works. Instead of JUST displaying the newest images in order (new->old), and being able to select "recent comments" and look at that.. maybe try to make the gallery a bit more.. dynamic perhaps and when you click on gallery it sorts by both upload time AND comment

Cool. As for what I want/don't want posted, I don't care. It's up to everyone to post what they like If it was what I wanted, I'd probably block political posts. Because I just don't care. But if people want them, great. So long as they don't overwhelm the site then whatever.

Sometimes the script goes nuts and adds the same 3 tags to an image multiple times; but shouldn't ever have happened THAT many times? I more meant the "image rating" box on your old man phone. Got an example image of scrolling miles because of tags?

Quotepj how many people do you think are looking at this website every day? I wouldn't expect a lot of comments on any image. The site gets a LOT of random daily views, but yeah admittedly not a huge amount of returners. We also have something like a 50% bounce rate; that's somebody who comes, views one image and leaves. I've un-fucked the smileys. That is all. While I was messing around though, I've made the "pop up" smiley box (eg when you click on the smiley icon) 250 pixels wide (up from 150 it was). If it breaks something let me know

OK I've made the change to the voting box. I don't mind it; what do others think? It still displays on both desktop and mobile versions of the site; that whole box probably doesn't need to display on desktop site.. but problem for another day.

Okay I had a quick play while being bored senseless by a meeting. There's 2 options I came up with in the attached image; not sure if it should have its own box, or if it should just be details inside the "rating" box. Both of them TBH look kind of shit on desktop, so not entirely sure how to block it on desktop site. Anyway; thoughts?

I recently added the "stars" rating box for mobile too because you couldn't actually score an image. I think the vote count has jumped dramatically.
