Yeah, core ran out of disk space. Whoops.

All long gone with hardware moves etc. It was all built from scratch, migrated to Docker containers etc with waaaaay more powerful hardware. That clearly slipped through the gaps. I presume DK knows how it ran but he's dead and/or a jerk. So yeah NFI how that stuff worked anymore. Anyway yeah I think it's time to migrate away from paid hosting for servers and move back to VMs. That's probably

Yup, it was always a cron job. I just don't remember what the cron job did

Yeah the cleanup job for toplist doesn't run anymore since things moved to new hardware and I don't remember how it worked. Shit keeps running out of disk space too which adds to the fun. I'm considering changing the hosting structure to basically do it for free, and kill the porn site once and for all.

Flicked through a dozen of them, don't think any of them break the TOS.

tbh all the political shit does, regardless of the views. You know you can ignore each other?

Yeah. The only reason I haven't is because I kind of wonder if any oldschool people will come back one day It's a curiosity on my part. Shadez is a good example after like 15 years. That said I did only replace the main hosting servers ~2 years ago, the last core cluster ran for .. like 14 years or something .. and I don't really have anything else I want to do with these systems. By the time

Calm down now children The problem is the web has become so unbelievably political everywhere. It's especially bad since 2016, especially when they're not your own politicians. I don't really care about that though, people are free to post whatever they want (within reason, obviously), just like people are free to ignore the posts or people they don't like We've had a lot of weirdos and

Haha no not crying into my beer. Though my wine glass is currently empty. Maybe that's part of the issue. I am feeling a bit nostalgic in general lately. But I definitely miss the days when there was a couple of dozen people contributing new stuff each day and maybe nearly a hundred people commenting. I'm definitely getting old! My 40s has been shit so far. I think I was 21 or 22 when we launc

I've been skimming through some of the old forum posts and images lately. Made me feel nostalgic for the site. So many old users we've lost along the way, no idea what happened to any of them. Such a shame, it used to be a real community. Obviously things always change, and people come and go, but it's kind of sad how desolate things have become. Having effectively killed the porn site by bloc

I think you were too fast but too slow They were my test images; then I deleted them. Once an image is deleted the image ID (plus613.net/image/12345) isn't reused; just disabled and displays a random image forevermore. You probably loaded the gallery before I'd deleted them, but clicked the images afterwards perhaps? Let me know if you can still see those pictures. That's my bigger worry.

You can only edit for 5 minutes after posting I think. So possibly if it clicked over 5 mins while you were editing it it'd ditch it.

I removed 50,000 comments from the database today, images and forum. Pretty sure all were spam. Maybe some non spam got caught up, dunno. Shouldn't have but can never be sure, I wasn't checking them all

Yeah very strange. I don't really know It's been fine for me since we disabled all the caching system. The weird thing with that, was it was all enabled on the previous servers, so .. I don't really understand how that broke things so badly. Fortunately the new core is way more powerful and can handle the load of the sites without caching.

What browser? Any security/tracking/ad blocking/etc? Anybody else with this issue? I haven't had any problems since we force-disabled the caching

Never played. I used to play Go with my housemate in the UK, that was all strategy and if I ever won it was luck, I fucking sucked at it. But still it was fun

You could try deleting cookies for the site. Otherwise yeah just come to forum, log off and log on again. The caching issue we had (which I think is now fixed) was well and truly messing up the login status etc. If you eg visit in incognito/private browsing/whatever mode and login I'm pretty confident that session will just work Shift+refresh on the affected pages might help too. As far as

Yeah, refresh will sort it, if you have further issues you might need to shift-refresh or delete cookies but it should be alright now.
