All the money spent on space research and colonization of other planets is an utter and total waste of much needed resources
that could be used to help maintain the one we're already on AND it's purpose built for humans and animals alike.

Well, it's needed right now otherwise mother nature wouldn't have let it spread, whether it was man made or not.
It's time to cap the numbers on this planet, not another, and start rehabilitation of the damage humans have done to Earth so far.
This is by far, an easier formula to bring to reality, rather than saying "well, we fucked up this planet, let's move to another one".
