Unlike PJ, I've only been to California, Illinois and Hawaii. So don't know a great deal about the geography of what's where. I think the guesses on the map are fairly solid. I have no idea where Kansas is either, though at least it's one of the ones I could name
I almost certainly can name more US states than most Americans can name Australian states
but that's not saying much, there's also a lot more of them.
I was talking with a guy recently who was telling me basically Texas is as big as Australia, that I can't imagine how big Texas is. Of 8 states & territories in Australia, 5 are larger than Texas. It's kinda funny. One state alone is nearly a million square miles, compared to 260,000sq miles of Texas.
I'd be better with European countries. Unless it was just a country's outline...
