You are providing an example of why there is netiquette and most sites allowing discussions have rules about bad behavior, unlike this one. That doesn't give anyone license for being an asshole though. If you think that it makes a person weak because they don't like excessive insulting behavior and you are a "big boy" because you can come up with what you think are clever stings, jabs and quips at the drop of a hat and use freedom as an excuse for it then you have a serious problem with maturity and social convention. I'm not offended by your insults, I kind of feel sorry for you.
