The forward swept wings are pretty responsive at high speeds. I know it doesn't look quite right but it works well when combined with other airfoils added such as those forward of the wings to add more stability. Aerodynamics gets pretty strange at supersonic speeds and some things seem to work almost opposite from what you'd expect.
