I estimate that this hive is 50% - 75% larger than woberto's bar-b-que hive - if anyone wants to climb up to measure it or get a closer pic, be my guest. It's about 5 meters in the air not far off the trail and the only reason I lingered to snap this pic is because it was about 50 degrees F (around 10 degrees C) this morning so the inhabitants weren't very energetic. Not advisable to hang around if it's warm out.
