OK, I am writng this on a new interface. Plus 613 has changed, or is it only for us with Firefox.
Anyhow, the film is "von Richthoven and Brown". Some of the footage from this film was used in the other WW1 flying film at the time - "Aces High".
"von Richthoven and Brown" is in my opinion a better film than "Blue Max", well worth looking for. I do not think it can be found on DVD. Unfortunately I only have a Spanish VHS, which limits the enjoyment somewhat!
