i'm not sure what kinda plane,but he was attached to the r.a.f. in the u.s. navy stationed in greenland and in england. i also have his greenland coat. thick rubber outside and sheepskin (thick) lining. coat weighs 30 lbs! i have'nt found weather cold enough to wear! lol 15 degrees in coloradoand i had to change jackets cause i was sweating! one warm m.f. too damn warm to wear in dallas that's for sure!
