just_wondering@150154... wonder no more: First of all, the OLD TESTEMENT is written in Hebrew, Jesus wasn't spoken of by that name in the Old Testement, therefore no "J" needed. It wasn't until the NEW TESTEMENT, which was written in GREEK, that the name JESUS first appears, the book of Matthew 1:1 . And pronunciation does change from one language to another, "Jesus" in Spanish is pronounced differently. But I DO agree with you on your view of the pope, Jesus said that no man comes unto the Father(GOD) but by him(JESUS). So the pope is in vain.
