who started the intifada again? hmmm.... Oh yeah! The Palestinians. Look where the cycle of violence begins! Sort of reminds me of 1948 - Israel tries to settle with Palestinians, even though they get the worse deal with regards to land (i.e. lots of desert) but a group of arab nations decides to attack israel. Israel pwns them. Same thing happens like 4 times. Anyway, Palestinians had better conditions under israel than under Jordan prior to '67. Israel is a democratic, ethical country. They dont have a mission to push all of the people of another religion into the sea, or not recognize their states existence. Oh, hey arab countries. Nor does israel have a parade after 9/11, as did a great number of Palestinians living in the west bank and Gaza, and Arabs in other countries. Israel would be glad to end the violence, and they are trying to start - pulling out of Gaza. It is hard to do so, however, when one's civilians are being shot up by terrorists. Granted, there are some crazy ass israelis out there too, but for some reason it seems one incident of a DERANGED soldier killing arabs is talked about for weeks, while a suicide bombing or shooting is sort of forgotten about quickly. Its probobly because they happened almost daily for a period of time. For some reason, that doesnt seem to matter so much.
Basically, if Israel hadn't been continuosly provoked, there wouldn't have to be demolitions. But, at least the Palestinians can have Gaza now. Lets hope they dont move there kassam missles to the west bank and start attacking children again. Lets hope they are content with what they have, or at least bring what they want to the bargaining table. Lets hope the arabs finally recognize Israel, and abandon their goals to destroy the Jews, and America as well. Once that happens, and everyone settles down, I am certain that situations will improve ten fold for the people in that region.
