my sqirrel launcher is complete and was tested.

tossed the little s.o.b. around 15 feet, he hit the ground and came running directly back for another ride.
i couldn't stop laughing long enough to get it reset in time.
tomorrow i shall build 2 or three more to try and get even more distance with his girlfriend, brother, or whatever. ......am aiming for the creek about 25 feet this time.
thanks so much for the idea junior, i should be entertained for a while w/ this one!

i had a couple of clay pidgeon hand tossers ( for the lack of knowing the real name).
they have everything you need except a platform to mount them to.
then you set up a trigger, kinda like a mouse trap, and bingo we have liftoff!
