What is it about Americans? Why do they say use generic terms for Christmas like Seasons or Holidays? How can Muslims or anyoneelse mind that? Changing the name doesn't make it different does it? What is next? Changing Chinese New Year to something generic as well or are they excempt because they are a minority (in America anyway).

Don't know, though on the front page in the IOTW box I wrote "festive period" as that encompasses a few religions rather than just Christianity. It's a Pagan and Jewish celebration at the moment too, and probably others smiling smiley

It's just easier that way.
