mkcerusky are you not a Fiorentina fan? If you are I am sure you will agree with me that Gabriel Batistuta is/was one of the best strikers in the game. Being an Argentina supporter he is definantely a legend. Apparently he was still physically and technically very good but he didn't have the appetite to play anymore so after getting an injury he retired. Good luck to him in the future!

Bob you are right, Batistuta is a legend for me and Fiorentina supporters, he has probably been the best striker in Italy for few years, I still have in my eyes the goal he scored at Wembley against Arsenal! ....and what about when he shut-up the whole Camp Nou stadium scoring against Barcelona?....simply a mythe!
Probably he has had enough of playing football, but I wish him the best for his future life.
